spellboundxo is a mature website in more than one sense. we anticipate that all members will not only be able to handle content deemed explicit, but also be able to conduct themselves in a mature manner, sorting out any issues calmly, as opposed to allowing fights or arguments to escalate.

realize that the admin of spellboundxo are here to help members and can be contacted on any issue a member feels is important, please note that all information will be kept confidental and that we will take all members' opinions into consideration. unlike some sites, we do not believe that everything the admin say is fact...after all, it wouldn't be a true, functioning site without the imput of all members.

we expect that all members be able to meet the 3350 minimum word count while posting. we hope that all regard writing as serious, yet a fun and creative outlet and will work to embellish posts with as many well-thought-out ideas and as much description as possible. note that creating plot pages for your characters is a perfect way to get started.

because spellboundxo is a no application site, the admin place trust in the fact that when members join, they plan on returning and remaining as active as possible. if a member plans on or has been absent from the site, he or she should post in the absences board. mandatory activity checks will take place every few months, and if a member has not been active, any claims and the account will be removed. even if said member has written to the activity check, if he or she has not actually created posts in a significant amount of time, the accounts and claims will be removed, regardless.

please realize that no character should be perfect!! just as in real life, every character should possess some flaws or set backs in his or her life.

diversity is a good thing. in this mindset, every member should strive to create characters that are completely individual from the rest. as a site, we are entirely accepting of characters possessing such setbcks as diseases, abnormalities, or mental illness. however, in real life, these are NOT frequent occurences, so if every character possesses these, the diversity is diminished. the same goes for different sexualities that members may choose for their characters. note that certain sexualities, genders, or even school houses are susceptible to being banned if they become too prevalent.

any major plots should be discussed with and approved of by an admin before they are acted upon. these include, but are not limited to, marriages, pregnancies, the development of terminal illnesses, death, etc. the main reason for this is that we do not want certain plots being over-used, thus acting against the originality segment of these rules
